Labor Day

Warning: No picture of the table and chairs on the deck.  Today the front yard and the state fair were way more interesting. The first two pictures were taken after my bike ride with Mr. Moohoo. It was a beautiful ride to Lake Vadnais (and back, of course). The last one was taken after we had spent hours at the Minnesota State Fair. It was a wonderful day.

Memorial Day

I seem to really like posting pictures of the table and chairs on the deck.  Here they are this morning during a short hail storm.

By 2pm it was sunny, Mr. Moohoo was on his bike and I was seeding some (very) bare spots in the backyard. Then I went for a walk in 86 degree weather. Quite the contrasts here lately.

Yesterday Wireless was here and we enjoyed the Indy 500, chicken from the grill (with French bread and French wine), and several games of Upwords.  Life is good.

The aftermath

Today is cold, but the snow and sunny blue sky make it a pretty day.  Here are some pictures of the aftermath of the snowpocalypse.  The first 2 were taken this morning about 9:30 am. The last two I took this afternoon around 3:30.  Enjoy (and be glad you did not have to clear the driveway like TOPWLH did).

Snowpocalypse

15 inches in Woodbury, national news reports.  Here is a sequence of photos of our deck.  The first one was taken just before midnight last night.  The second was this morning around 10am. The last one I took about 5pm tonight.

Indoor beauty

I am a bit obsessed with flowers and plants these days.  Maybe it's the cold.  But I think this collection of flowers and plants (in the sun after being watered) is beautiful.  One I saved from an outdoor death, one I bought after another I thought I saved died, and then, of course, there are the book club flowers.  Enjoy.
